Among all the locations I have been at to capture the Lethbridge high level bridge, this particular vantage point holds a special place in my heart. The reason eludes me, but there’s an enduring allure in photographing the bridge from this specific spot. Perhaps it’s the harmonious combination of the bridge itself, the surrounding coulees, the flowing Oldman River, and the trees in the foreground.

On this chilly winter morning, characterized by the biting cold of early winter, the Oldman River displayed a unique charm. It had not yet succumbed entirely to the frost, allowing a subtle mist to rise from its surface beneath the towering high level bridge. However, in contrast, certain stretches of the river had already succumbed to the winter freeze.
