The Lethbridge High Level Bridge to anyone that has grown up or lived for any time in southern Alberta is a permanent memory. The length, the height, the ruggedness. There is so much about the bridge that stands out to each and every person. Other than the winds of southern Alberta the bridge is the thing most know about Lethbridge.
Ever since I was young, the high-level bridge has fascinated me. Looking at pictures of it being built, the workers who built it, and all the different trains that have used it has kept my imagination alive for years. Whenever I go to the river bottom, it pulls me back in.
I’ve spent many days taking pictures of the bridge, and over time, it’s become like an old friend to me. Whether it’s the hot summer, the freezing winter, or enduring the strong winds. I visit this old friend a lot because it holds a special place in the river bottom.
My photos can help you remember your experiences with the bridge during all seasons.
I have thousands of bridge photos to choose from, the ones in my online store are my favourite and they showcase the bridge in every season and weather condition. If you don’t see an image you like, reach out to me, and I can check my archives for you.
