Early Morning walk in the Lethbridge River Valley – There’s something magical about the first light in the Lethbridge river valley. On this quiet autumn morning, I followed the Elizabeth Hall trail along the west side of the Oldman River. The air was crisp, the coulees just beginning to blush with the colors of fall. In the distance, the High Level Bridge stretched proudly across the valley, with the University of Lethbridge beyond. Above, the clouds from the night before were slowly giving way, letting the soft morning light spill across the landscape.

This photograph holds that fleeting moment — a calm pause before the day begins.
