Some nights, Mother Nature becomes an artist. Dedicating the entire night to crafting the breathtaking scenes we wake up to the next day. The entrance to the Lethbridge Research Station, just off Highway 3, witnessed one of these magical moments.

The trees flanking the entrance were adorned with a generous coating of frost. Transforming the landscape into a winter wonderland. The frost extended to the ground and delicately dusted the road leading into the research station.

This photograph captures the enchanting view of the road winding its way through the frost-covered cottonwood trees. As the image extends into the distance. The trees fade to a pristine white, courtesy of the lingering fog in the air. Towards the center of the photo, a subtle brightness hints at the sun attempting to pierce through the dense fog, though not entirely succeeding.
